The IndTech! program provides Indigenous youth with robust supports and training to succeed in their careers, helping participants develop practical and job-transferable skills to prepare them for work placements with digital economy organizations. Our courses recreate a workplace environment where participants are given opportunities to practise new skills with the guidance of an instructor and career coach. Participants will learn employability skills and professionalism in the workplace. This data-processing training focuses on transferable skills such as data conversion, data storage, data validation, metadata, and record keeping. In addition to data processing, participants will learn professional communication skills, software literacy, teamwork and collaboration, and project management. We offer one-to-one career coaching services, assistive technology, and a no-test no-exam curriculum. This is a four-month training program, with two months of instruction followed by a two-month paid work placement. This is the practicum component
