This badge will focus on facilitating and debriefing simulation-based learning activities in healthcare. Learners will be introduced to the foundational principles and skills required for simulation-based education, including the different types and uses of this immersive technology, preparing for and facilitating a simulation-based learning activity, and effective communication strategies to lead a debrief. Through different learning activities, including a synchronous practice debrief session with the course instructor, learners will explore and implement best practices in simulation-based learning to create a safe and supportive learning environment for participants.
