Learners will gain real-world experience and apply knowledge and skills learned from the program in a professional setting through an eight-week Work-integrated learning Field Experience placement. This on-site, in industry experience gives learners the opportunity to create content for real organizations and situations, highlighting differences in pursuing content
creation as an entrepreneur or as part of marketing and communications teams in more traditional workplaces. Emphasis is placed on professionalism, project management and translating creative vision into measurable business or community impact while contributing to the learner�s portfolio and providing learners the opportunity to connect with industry.

In this course, learners will ideate, design and execute creative content campaigns that align with brand, business, social causes or personal goals. Through case studies and hands-on projects, learners will explore campaign planning, timelines, storytelling techniques, brand alignment, review and approval processes, client collaboration, and audience engagement strategies. Learners will refine personal media kits, practice pitching content concepts, respond to industry feedback and analyze campaign metrics.

This course helps learners understand how to monitor and interpret analytics and apply data to inform and improve creative decisions, engagement strategy, and business growth. Learners will track performance metrics and use analytics to refine their content calendar, aligning strategy with goals, values, and audience resonance. Leaners will prepare analytics reports, practice data-driven strategy adjustments, and develop actionable recommendations based on real-world insights.

This course combines writing and speaking skills essential for content creators in today�s multiplatform digital landscape. Learners will craft compelling written content (captions, scripts, blogs, and more) while also developing confidence and clarity in on-camera and voiceover delivery and public speaking. Emphasis is placed on tone, voice, storytelling structure, and adapting messages for diverse audiences and platforms as well as on-camera personality and performance. Through practical assignments, learners will write scripts, develop social copy, and record audio video content that reflects their brand identity and engages their community. The course also explores body language, live interaction techniques, performance anxiety and maintaining authenticity in both written and spoken digital communication.

Learners will develop technical and creative skills in photography and short-form video production, with a focus on visual storytelling across social
platforms. The hands-on course covers composition, editing, lighting, and
trend-based content creation strategies and tactics designed to help learners
refine their style while producing original content that integrates their
authentic voice and brand aesthetic.
