This course focuses on putting the student in the position of an entrepreneur with a new idea and teaches the student how to build that idea into a business case! In this course we will cover the basics of starting a business, from idea assessment to implementation. Students will learn to identify the strategic options facing a growing business and apply a range of practical solutions through the use of case studies.
Please note you are responsible for:
1) Knowing your Student Handbook
2) Knowing your Course Outline & Syllabus/Schedule as well as Adhering to the Instructor Schedule
3) Attending All Classroom Lectures and completing your readings (textbook must be purchased using the link provided on the Moodle page, as there will be Connect assessments).
4) Completing All Assessments for the Due Date Scheduled
5) Checking Course "Announcements" Regularly; and
6) Reviewing all Unit Materials Posted Prior to Class
