This course will develop academic listening and clear speaking skills with a focus on intercultural and health care topics. Listening texts explore topics such as health equity and inclusion in health care, along with common health conditions experienced by clients in care. The clear speaking portion of the course will support the development of comprehensible pronunciation to enhance communication in health care settings.
