This course furthers the student's understanding of culturally competent therapeutic recreation practice across the lifespan. It will examine the role that therapeutic recreation plays in providing person-centered care to clients of all cultures and ages. Human development, health promotion, maintenance, adaptations, and culture competence are explored.
