This course introduces learners to foundational knowledge for supporting diverse persons with disabilities. With a focus on self-awareness, stigma, and bias, learners will examine the evolution of social-cultural perspectives of persons with disabilities and subsequent treatment. Learners will also reflect on the scope and role of a disability service worker.
